About the Conference

The objectives of the this National Conference is to bring together leading scientists, researchers, scholars and students from academia and industry to present their recent advances & findings to exchange their experiences and research on all aspects of Agriculture for the growth of farmer's income. The researchers and scientists will exchange their views with students and farmers for more production leading to increase in the income. It will also provide a forum for in-depth assessment of the challenges involved in the dynamic and fast moving fields of research & development technique in agriculture. The organizing committee feels honored to invite you to disseminate knowledge and facilitate the exchange of new ideas among the members of our profession.

We invite original research, for oral or poster presentations in major areas of agriculture economics and plant biotechnology and other aspects for sustainable agriculture. Conference language is English. All accepted abstracts will be printed in the conference proceeding abstract book. Submitted papers will be evaluated through double peer reviewing process and possible publishing in reputed journals.

About the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology

Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology, AKS University, Satna has a galaxy of qualified teachers from various disciplines of agriculture. They have obtained their trainings in their field of specialization from different universities and national institutions of repute like IIT etc. This faculty has ventured to impart various degrees such as B.Sc. (Ag) Hons, M.Sc. (Ag), Ph.D., B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) and B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) + M.B.A. where altogether 2200 students have been studying and shaping their career in the field of agriculture and technology. Faculty of Agril Science & Technology has six well equipped laboratories for teaching graduate & post graduate practical courses. Besides this faculty has an experimental field of 50 acres comprising agronomy, horticulture, animal husbandary and medicinal and aromatic crops.

Agriculture faculty has a well chalked out plan for its transfer of technologies. It has adopted five villages where door step delivery of agricultural technologies will be made to the farmers to practice in their field. Kisan Gosthi, Kisan Mela, answering farmer's queries on telephone and publishing popular agril magazines is our mode of extension process. This faculty has signed MOUs with Jain Irrigations, V.K. Pack Well Pvt. Ltd. and Mamata Energy very recently for student training, faculty exchange and placements of students.

Society of Bioinformatics and Biological Sciences (SBBS)

SBBS is a scientific registered society (Indian Societies Registration Act 21, 1860). SBBS is an interdisciplinary society dealing with Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Computational Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Agri- Informatics, Animal-Veterinary Sciences, Chemoinformatics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Science and Nanotechnology. SBBS members include scientist, faculty members, experienced software development engineers, and university postgraduate and undergraduate students, etc. The goals are to promote the co-operation between the professionals in various fields of the Biological Sciences and to cultivate an environment for the advance and development of the new bioinformatics approaches. Society has a Journal which is an international rigorous peerreviewed open access publication focused to disseminate theoretical or experimental novel information. The Journal with the multidisciplinary nature of its scope encourages scientists, researchers and policy-makers to look forward. The journal is also focused to enhance the communication between the scientific community and end-users for the well being of environment and mankind.

About Satna

Satna is unofficially acknowledged as the Cement capital of India, given the preponderance of vast amounts of Limestone deposits in and around Satna, and every major Cement player, including Birla Group, Jaypee Group, Reliance Group, Prism Group, having established its cement plants or in the process of establishing new plants or upgrading the capacity of existing plants. Satna is more than 150-years-old Railway station on the premier Kolkata-Mumbai route. Satna city is home to many architectural wonders and heritage sites including 10th Century world-famous Khajuraho temples depicting the theme that life is a celebration in all its multifarious forms including Kama and conjugal art, and Buddhist caves, Panna forest reserve known as one of the most bio-diverse sites in central India, as well more than 100-year old Panna diamond mines. While moving ahead with modernization beyond the existing air-strip, Satna maintains its pristine traditional glory endowed to it by many succeeding dynasties. Abstracts Submission

Submit your abstract and full length paper as per the registration notified date. Participation is open to all, working in the areas of Agricultre research, teaching, consultancy, etc. Each registered delegate or invitee will be eligible to present one paper or one poster only.

Scientific papers are invited for oral and poster presentation on the theme of conference. The abstract must be written in MS word, font-Times-New-Roman, font size-12 point, 1.5cm spacing and should briefly reflect all the aspects of the study and should not exceed 250 words. Title should be in bold letters. The submission should be made online after getting registered. The abstract should include Title in capital, authors with surname followed by initials and affiliations. The name of presenting author should be indicated by underlining the author name. Only registered delegates will be allowed to present the accepted papers and he/she must be one of the co-authors of the paper during for oral or poster presentation. The size of poster should not exceed 90x120 cm. Contents to be included in the poster are-Title, Authors, Affiliation, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results & Discussions, Conclusion & Reference.

The scientific committee will review all submissions to be short-listed for oral/poster presentations. Acceptance will be notified by email.

The nearest major airport to Satna is Jabalpur Airport (IATA - JLR, ICAO - VAJB) which is approximately 200 kilometer from the city. Other nearest airport is Khajuraho Airport (IATA - HJR, ICAO - VEKO) which is approximately 112 kilometer from city. Reaching Satna via Southern states of INDIA as well from metro cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bangaluru then one can connect to Bhopal city (State Capital) having Airport namely Raj Bhoj Airport (IATA - BHO, ICAO - VABP) which is 378 kilometer from Satna. Nearest International Airport is Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (IATA - VNS, ICAO - VEBN) located in Varanasi city from here one can took Railway Service to reach Satna city.

By Railways:

Satna Junction Railway Station (IRCTC Code - STA) is a station in the Western-Central railway division on the route between Jabalpur Junction and Allahabad (Prayagraj). It is a junction and the branch goes to Rewa City. It lies on the Howra-Allahabad-Mumbai Line, a train route connecting Mumbai and Howrah. Distance from Jabalpur Junction to Satna is approximate 200 kilometers and Allahabad is approximate 186 kilometers. Distance from Varanasi Junction to Satna Junction is approximate 300 Kilometers.

By Roadways:

Bus services connect Satna with various cities of Madhya Pradesh state and some cities of Uttar Pradesh state. The city is well-connected by state highways and a national highway. Satna is connected to the longest National Highway: NH-7. State highway NH-75 passes from the heart of Satna and connects it to cities of Panna and Rewa, which are other important cities of northern Madhya Pradesh.
