About the Conference
The objectives of the this National Conference is to bring together leading scientists, researchers, scholars and students from academia and industry to present their recent advances & findings to exchange their experiences and research on all aspects of Agriculture for the growth of farmer's income. The researchers and scientists will exchange their views with students and farmers for more production leading to increase in the income. It will also provide a forum for in-depth assessment of the challenges involved in the dynamic and fast moving fields of research & development technique in agriculture. The organizing committee feels honored to invite you to disseminate knowledge and facilitate the exchange of new ideas among the members of our profession.
We invite original research, for oral or poster presentations in major areas of agriculture economics and plant biotechnology and other aspects for sustainable agriculture. Conference language is English. All accepted abstracts will be printed in the conference proceeding abstract book. Submitted papers will be evaluated through double peer reviewing process and possible publishing in reputed journals.

About the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology
Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology, AKS University, Satna has a galaxy of qualified teachers from various disciplines of agriculture. They have obtained their trainings in their field of specialization from different universities and national institutions of repute like IIT etc. This faculty has ventured to impart various degrees such as B.Sc. (Ag) Hons, M.Sc. (Ag), Ph.D., B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) and B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) + M.B.A. where altogether 2200 students have been studying and shaping their career in the field of agriculture and technology. Faculty of Agril Science & Technology has six well equipped laboratories for teaching graduate & post graduate practical courses. Besides this faculty has an experimental field of 50 acres comprising agronomy, horticulture, animal husbandary and medicinal and aromatic crops.
Agriculture faculty has a well chalked out plan for its transfer of technologies. It has adopted five villages where door step delivery of agricultural technologies will be made to the farmers to practice in their field. Kisan Gosthi, Kisan Mela, answering farmer's queries on telephone and publishing popular agril magazines is our mode of extension process. This faculty has signed MOUs with Jain Irrigations, V.K. Pack Well Pvt. Ltd. and Mamata Energy very recently for student training, faculty exchange and placements of students.
About Satna
Satna is unofficially acknowledged as the Cement capital of India, given the preponderance of vast amounts of Limestone deposits in and around Satna, and every major Cement player, including Birla Group, Jaypee Group, Reliance Group, Prism Group, having established its cement plants or in the process of establishing new plants or upgrading the capacity of existing plants. Satna is more than 150-years-old Railway station on the premier Kolkata-Mumbai route. Satna city is home to many architectural wonders and heritage sites including 10th Century world-famous Khajuraho temples depicting the theme that life is a celebration in all its multifarious forms including Kama and conjugal art, and Buddhist caves, Panna forest reserve known as one of the most bio-diverse sites in central India, as well more than 100-year old Panna diamond mines. While moving ahead with modernization beyond the existing air-strip, Satna maintains its pristine traditional glory endowed to it by many succeeding dynasties. Other eminent locales within 30-100 kilometers of Satna are city of Rewa, the home of White Tiger; Maihar town, famous for annual pan-India festivals of classical music for last hundreds of years and for its nationally-renowned temple of Devi Goddess atop a high hill, which is now connected with ropeway. The unspoilt traditions and life style of the bygone era can be experienced first-hand here at Satna along with sprinkling of resorts and hotels.
